Okuda created his masterful Universal Chapel during The Unexpected project of 2016, curated by Justkids.

Universal Chapel is a colorful temple to human sensibility that sits on 1300 Garrison Avenue, located directly across from Immaculate Conception, a historic Catholic church and ornate cathedral in downtown Fort Smith, Arkansasas. The formerly abandoned building has now been embraced by the community, reactivated as a school for visual arts and a landmark piece central to the Downtown landscape, demonstrating the captivating power of color and architecture.
